How do I get to Las Vegas dock in Sierpe?
Sierpe is a 1h drive from Palmar Norte (interprovincial bus terminal). Shared shuttle from Uvita (1h 45min) and private from San José (5h 30min). We help you coordinate.
Which tour should I pick first?
Full day and good fitness: Sirena. With family or moderate hike: San Pedrillo. Half day only: dawn Mangrove.
When is the best season?
December-April (dry) has clear skies and calm seas. May-November (green) has thicker vegetation, active wildlife and fewer tourists; the sea can be rough in September-October.
Do I need to book ahead?
In high season, yes — at least 3-7 days. In green season same-day is often possible. WhatsApp is the fastest way to confirm.
What's included in the price?
Round-trip boat, park permits, bilingual guide, water and food per tour. Doesn't include transport to the dock or personal gear. Per-tour breakdown on each page.
Do you accept cards?
Yes. Online payment is being built (Sprints 2-3). For now we coordinate via WhatsApp and send an Onvopay link if you prefer to pay by card.
What if it rains heavily or seas are rough?
We run with light rain. If SINAC closes the park or seas are dangerous, we reschedule at no cost or refund per policy. Safety first.
Private groups?
Yes, from 4 people the boat can be privatized. Best to coordinate via WhatsApp for dates and price.
Do you work with hotels and agencies?
Yes, we offer net rates for hotels, agencies and lodges across Drake-Sierpe-Puerto Jiménez. Write to reservas@amiguitotourscr.com.
